As any of you who have been following Kombilife for the last few years will already know, Ben just got back to North America, got Alaska his dog back, and just got his US visa this week and was on his way to Alaska to dig the bus out and get back on the road.. now this!
..
Plan so far is to get it to Vancouver Island and start the rebuild.. if anyone can spare anything these guys deserve a break..

Looks like it may have been the solar charger starting up on a frozen house battery.. not an engine fire for once, but burnt out the ECU..
Co’Pito is a 1992 Brazil Bay/Split hybrid.. with a mexican 2001 FI engine. Rancho just build a custom transmission to get it back on the road..
